I have used it multiple times and haven't had a problem once. Yes, it does save time. The order has been ready every single time I have walked in to pick it up.

However, I don't modify from the ingredients that come with it, so that probably helps.

What can we do about Syria? Serious question. I want to do something to stop the suffering there but I don't know what to do.

Starbucks should hire competent people to fulfill orders accurately for the overpriced product they sell. I do mobile ordering too and frequent it every other day.

Eh, yes and no. You're comparing apples and watermelons, and it's really not fair.

It's perfectly legit to be annoyed...and let's be clear, the OP is merely voicing annoyance (she's not publicly pitching a fit)...when you pay for something and the vendor doesn't deliver...particularly when it doesn't take much effort to read a ticket and make the coffee correctly.

But this coffee issue pales in comparison to the new thread I'm going to start about DD...because you can remedy the coffee situation at Starbucks.

OP Don't let these people ruin your day. I completely sympathize with you. I go to one McDonald's driveway every morning to pick up one biscuit, two breakfast sandwiches, one large coffee and one large juice. It is the standard order I make 5 days a week. The women who work there even know me. I often find that the coffee has a slightly charred taste to it which is not covered by the two sugars and three milks they put in the coffee for me. The cheese on the breakfast sandwiches is rarely the consistency I want. And don't get me started on the biscuits. Sometimes, the paper is folder over them the correct way, and sometimes they seem to rush and make it difficult to open the paper and and jam and butter to the biscuit while I am driving. I don't understand they can't get it right!

I worked in customer service in college and generally go out of my way to be understanding/not be an ass to service workers, but I would ask them to re-make the drink in your situation. No reason not to get what you paid for, especially since you're paying extra for syrups, etc. just go a few minutes early so you can make sure your drink is correct/have time for it to be re-made if necessary. A PP's suggestion to just go to one Starbucks every day is also a good one - if you're a regular there, the barista will probably start making it consistently.

Place your order and leave your house about 10-15 minutes earlier so that if you have the time to test your coffee and have it remade if necessary. After a few times of this they'll start to remember you and your drink order.

Otherwise, you take what you get and hope that it's right. I've noticed that there are coffee places that pretty much always get your order right and there are coffee shops that are prone to screwing up your order.
