But I've loved every single job I've ever had since I was 14 and working at a concession stand selling hot dogs to my job today (GS-15 working for the government on national security issues). I feel like loving your job doesn't just depend on the job (I've had probably at least 15 jobs over the years, all of which I have loved) but your attitude/outlook.
This is what I thought but I've come to change my mind after working in a place with terrible work-life balance and a micromanaging boss. I make about $130K but have fantasies about those early jobs where I got to walk away from work at the end of the day, I had 8 hour shifts and a social life and I didn't have to deal with a boss who is so unpredictable you have no idea what you're walking into every day.
