The ban was overturned! Lesson learned France. Dictating what women should wear in public and marginalizing a specific group of women who chose to wear modest swimsuit to enjoy the beach is clearly an act of discrimination. Those of you who supported France, I say shame on you.

You are aware that the people being legally discriminated againts by these local bans are *French citizens*, aren't you? These French citizens just happen to be brown and non-Christian who simply want to enjoy the beach in a modest attire.

But, fortunately, France's highest administrate court disagrees with you, and has suspended the ban, stating that the ban "seriously and clearly illegally breached fundamental freedoms."

France's highest administrative court has suspended a ban on full-body "burkini" swimsuits that was imposed in a town on the Mediterranean coast.
