That would be the smart choice, therefore Trump won't do it. The family went to Indiana to talk him into taking Pence, but his gut is telling him to pick Christie.

Trump and Bernie to some extent are the only two candidates who are riding high on that wave here in the US. Pundits predicted 70% chance of UK remain. Brexit happened. Pundits predicted Trump's demise in the primaries. He crushed his competition. I don't think Trump needs to pick Pence to win. I like to see Christie or Cotton. But he will win this election on his own.


Newest polls back this up. There are plenty of angry male Caucasians registered as democrat in PA, OH, and FL. Trump is now tied or leading in all these states. If he wins these three, he will win.


He only needs to win two of them.


Actually, if you look at the map of swing states, he needs all three plus one more medium size swing state to win. The map does not favor him.

As is the case in the last 4 elections, it will come down to a handful swing states and the demographics of those states make Trump very competitive in each. Trump is now tied or leading in PA, OH, and FL. If he wins these three, he will win.
