Although she's not a bona fide celebrity, Jenny Lawson's Let's Pretend this Never Happened is one of the funniest books I've ever read.

I have to disagree with this. Maybe it's because I listened to the audiobook (which Tina Fey narrated), but I found myself laughing hysterically at points. Tears rolling down my face while stopped at a red light type of laugher. Loved it.

On the other hand, I thought Amy Poeler's book was way more empty. So. Much. Whining. about how hard it is to write a book.

YES! I was completely surprised. He's a smart guy who's led an interesting life. And he's clearly done a ton of therapy -- lots of self-reflection, which is interesting in its own right.

Molly Ringwald wrote a really good book of short stories

Jenna Jameson's "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star." Really interesting read, funny, sad, and a little depressing knowing her life after the book.

I'm reading Shonda Rhimes' Year of Yes and enjoying it. A very easy read.

Agree....Rob Lowe writes good books.
Thoroughly engrossing.

Brooke Shields wrote a very entertaining book about her relationship w/her mother which was an excellent read by far.
I love Chelsea Handler's book "Are You There Vodka.....?" which had me constantly in stitches, but her other books are not as good.

Brandy Glanville's first book is a good read.

As is the book Eminem's mother penned.

Holly Madison's book is at the top of my list due to how revealing it is! She offers a ton of dish & never disappoints.

Kate Mulgrew's 'Born With Teeth' was SO good.

Rachel Dratch wrote a great and funny book about being in Hollywood and not being super skinny/gorgeous. She also had a late in life baby - she was 43 - which was a total surprise.

I liked Candice Bergen's memoir Knock Wood about growing up with a dummy for a "brother" and a celebrity father.

Rob Lowe Stories I Tell My Friends, but the other one wasn't as good.
I just finished Leah Reminis book and it was good

Not Amy Poehler. It was guarded and hard to get into. I was disappointed.

I still want to read Holly Madison's book.
