Nigel, as another PP posted, is also a very British name.

On paper I would know that Loren is a boy and not a girl. But I think when spoken aloud there will be a lot of confusion. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it. If it does, I'd pick something else. I thought another PP's suggestion of Abraham nn Bram was great. Just Bram reminds me of Dracula.

Henry is about as Anglican as you can get. Especially if you make his middle name "The Eighth".

I love Loren, but admit that the first time I met a Loren I was expecting him to be a girl.

I think all of your other choices are nice as well.

You know that anglican is a protestant church and not an ethnicity don't you? loren is not a good name. charles, peter, stuart, malcolm...any of those are better.

Nigel is a Brit name you seldom have in the US and better than some of the ones posted. Also Duncan, Hugh, Augustine, and Angus (Scottish FWIS).

American here--the only Nigel I know of, and my instant association at the moment with Brexit all over the news, is Nigel Farage of UKIP. Political views may vary, but I would never want to even raise the question that I might have named my kid after Nigel Farage. Blech.

Duncan and Hugh are OK (or Hugo), but Augustine sounds like a girl's name and Angus is beef in America.
