Oh well, I'm a control freak, I wouldn't rely on a vasectomy for birth control. I got permanent birth control myself.

This won't help you right now, but DH is a bonus baby (9 yrs younger than his closest sib). He is the only one of his sibling who had a kid. His parents now live near us and greatly enjoy having a grandchild in their life. I sure it was a shock for MIL to have him, but I am sure she is glad that she has him and his child in her life.

Hopefully this new baby will bring more joy into your family.

Agree. Bonus babies arrive in your 40s.

I have one. I'm now in my 50s and am slowing down. I don't give my youngest the attention the older kids got. Just don't have the energy I had when I was younger.

My good friend conceived her 2nd child with a Mirena in. Many people think their solution is perfect.

Yes, solid finances would be ideal. So would a system in this country that actually supports families, so that we hardworking, frugal people don't go into crushing debt for normal things like taking care of our elderly, our kids, and dealing with illness.


In other words, rich people should pay more in taxes so you don't have to go into debt.


The PP is the rich people on Obama's America. Just sayin' who do you think pays for entitlements? People with jobs.
