Which is why the only instance of a teen being attacked at a gay pride parade I could find occurredwas non-sexual (a stabbing), occurred in Jerusalem, & was perpetuated by a religious fanatic, not a gay person.
But I once heard from next-door neighbors girlfriends hairdressers niece that something happened once somewhere next to where a gay pride festival was the month before!!! Surely there is a connection![]()

Sure your kid will see a fair share of men in speedos and women in bras, but they see far worse on the internet and tv, believe me. It's a beautiful show of solidarity and a day of fun. Now, would I let them hang out at JR's after? Uh, no.
Actually, no they don't. Because I don't let my kids who are of moon-bounce age watch that kind of TV or internet.
No sports bras or speedos?
I guess that means no Olympics and no beach. Both HUUUUUGE pits or moral depravity and recruiting locations for those nasty gay-folk!

Really, why are their woman in bras and men in speedos Honestly, I am curious.
It's 91 outside. Sports bras and speedos are cooler.
It's also what I see sometimes when I go walking in my townhome neighborhood, so not out of the ordinary in the DC area. Where I am from, you would be sexually harassed non-stop by everyone.![]()
