I am completely gobsmacked that there are no police in the cars. Every other city has police in its subway, riding the rails.
Agreed. The disincentive to crime is to have police and cameras. People need to stop being ideal world and focus on real world. Have as many as you can afford. Focus on both 'hot spots' (permanent presence) and unpredictability==randomly walking trains and stations in an unpredictable way and I love this idea of greeting people and making presence known. How is this hard? I should run for police chief.
