Dawson's Creek watcher here. I am happy to report that I have never seen the Gilmore Girls or Parenthood, so I'm putting those on my list. I just can't stand most of the stuff on TV these days--GOT, the Americans, Breaking Bad, etc--I know these things are great but when I sit down by myself on the couch after a long day, when everyone else is in bed, I really just want something that makes me feel good.

+1 Probably my favorite show, ever.
But agree with a PP that season 2 is cringy. It was during the writer's strike and it shows.
That's also the the season with the best scene of the whole series. (You all know which one I'm talking about.) So still very much worth watching.
Yes. And despite the cringe-y storyline, Jesse Plemmons is so very terrific throughout--he (almost) makes it work.
Wait, what do you consider the series best scene? Landry wasn't in the Coach/Matt bathroom scene.
Yes, the bathroom scene. Landry was in the other big storyline of season two, but that one was awful.
Anonymous wrote:No worries, OP. I am rewatching Dawson's Creek and could not be happier. (Full disclosure: I FF through any scene that doesn't involve Pacey or Joey. And I watch the Joey scenes only on the chance that Pacey gets mentioned.)
