I feel like a lot of companies have more flexibility now. Most of my friends WFH at least once a week and I do twice a week. I make a little under 120K and have a very flexible schedule though I will probably cap my salary at my current job in the next year or two.
Husband doesn't have a regular day but can as needed with no problem and usually takes a couple a month. He makes more - 170K and has a very flexible schedule. Leaves late to get our oldest on the bus at 9 and is home by 6:30 most days.

You need to do some research of companies that are in your industry. Take a look at FlexJobs. You could also consider becoming an independent contractor.

What about a Comms job for an association. Pay might be the same, but the lifestyle would be easier. Many are 35-37.5 hours/week. Check out ASAE.

I handle work flow process in an oversight capacity. I essentially direct traffic and make sure things get done (very simplified version). I am on the phone a good deal of the day - solving issues. I work on a regional basis, so the bulk of what I do is handled through email and phone calls - it really can be done from anywhere. The job requires a lot of patience and handholding. Every day is a new adventure and a new challenge, but the work is challenging and enjoyable. No special degree required - just have to be able to manage to work with difficult people to find solutions (which is not always easy).

IT. DH is a developer/coder. He works from home, makes $120K a year with unlimited vacation, and rarely works past 5.

NP here. I am not a lawyer and I work as a non-supervisory 14 ($105K-$140K is the range for 14's)
100% telework. I had to put my time in the office to start with (working 4 - 10's - Fridays off and 1 day a week telework) but I applied for a promotion and received it - only way I could take it was to telework (went to 5 days a week as well- the reason for telework was the location of the promotion- different location than where I was). They agreed and just had my performance evaluation last week- it is going so well they are considering it for other positions.

We all know people with jobs out there that pay well (I'd be happy with $110 -$120k) and have people home by 530 -- would love to get a list of companies or industries to consider.

I am one of those boring VA attys that everyone seems to complain about (the job, not the attys themselves) but I WAH 4 days a week and make $120K as a GS-14 and plan to stay here for the next 20 yrs.
