Only thing worse is "Dulles Town Center"
I remember my wife walking into the Nordstroms there and saying "there's something not right here". And she asked why they did not have the same kind of stock as in Tysons, and was told that the Dulles Town Center Nordstroms was designed/stocked for a lower end market vs Tysons.

We moved to GF recently and live it. Love the community activities. There are plenty of restaurants. See friends and neighbors everywhere we go. Wonderful trails. There is a cycling studio, yoga. Love it. Reston is easy to get to.

No, referring to the crazy, traffic-free, non-stop entertainer touting declining Great Falls, and cracking everyone else up in the process. Kind of obvious, really.
I don't see anyone from McLean trying to sell such snake oil, so they get a pass tonight.

I agree. Some of the homes are atrocious. Gold topped columns, gaudy fountains, weird castle style roofs... Are they mostly foreigners building?
The ones that are sitting are very dated styles where the elderly owners haven't updated since the early 80s. They're offended when realtors tell them it needs updating and think it should sell without any work done. People spending 1.5mill+ don't want fixer uppers with 30 year old kitchen and closed floor plans.
It's called Mogul architecture. 20% of GF residents are Persians and.....increasing. I expect to see more gaudy/ostentatious construction...

This has been sitting for almost two years - new construction - well, two years old now.

It is an absolutely terrible lot, right on 193 which is busy. Doesn't mean the market is falling, just means you can't sell anything you want, anywhere that you want - pretty basic.
