Many students I know got into both AOS and AET and will be declining 1 of them ( and if they get TJ as well, can posibly decline both AOS and AET)

To the earlier question - AET is also a rigorous program like AOS but is relatively new. My daughter is at AOS and is talking to the counselors to see if she can get on to one of the AET courses aligned with her interests.

Can you provide some information on the wait list process for AOS/AET? Our DS is on the wait list for both. Curious to know what are his chances for making it.

I think AET would help the kid stand out with some special experiences b/c they apply to college from their base school. Also don't you get a .5 GPA bump for each class? Plus AET you can leave after 2 years.
Anonymous wrote:Yes we understand that the kids are still enrolled in the base high school and go alternate days to AET. However, we are still debating whether it is better to not accept AET and just go to regular school both days. Leaning towards accepting AET but jusy checking in this blog if AET is considered as prestigious like AOS.
