Thanks. Here's the thing he's not flaking. He consistently asks and majority of the time I've been the one who's said I couldn't for various reasons. I just didn't like how he said sounds good.

Now, if supposedly second string why the heck keep asking if I turned him down before? Wouldn't it just be time to find another second string who would be more willing to cooperate?

It's obviously not working for him. Two things are happening here. My guess, he's someone mildly attractive to you and you're keeping him around until the BBD (bigger, better, deal) comes along in which case you'll complexity break contact until said BBD isn't available.

I told him the day I would get back. Not mad, confused. Like one of the PP said if a guy is really interested he's going to make concrete plans if he knows you're available. I was raised to think the same way so that's why I said I was confused.

Why would she be interested in some flaky guy who can't make plans. Said "boy" needs to man up and make plans. If he likes her, make some plans and follow through.
