Yes, to some degree... but there's more to it than that. WSHS is clearly not as wealthy as Langley or McLean or Madison or Oakton for that matter. You can argue that one of these schools is "better" than another based on the stats you choose. But the reality is a kid with educated parents from a relatively affluent home should have a great outcome at any of these schools.

That was just 2015. In the previous five years McLean won state titles in two team sports, soccer and softball; Oakton won in basketball and lacrosse, Madison won in lacrosse, and Langley won in volleyball, lacrosse, tennis, golf and swim and dive.
