Haven't gotten there yet personally.

Oohhhh the Dutch Market in Germantown also has amazing donuts... may have to go later this week to get some, now that you've reminded me...

Exactly. That's what I don't like about Duck Donuts. Flabby is a good word.

Hot Krispy Kreme glazed..perfection..must eat it in the store. The magic will be lost if you wait until you get home (though the microwave will help). My family probably thinks that only 11 come in the box.

Dry & cakey. They shouldn't even be called donuts.

They are cake donuts. They are exactly what a cake donut is suppose to be.

But they are extra bland and get soggy from random toppings. Really nothing redeeming about them.

Plus, it gives me nightmares about OBX.

LOL. So true. And since I thought they were like Krispy Kreme, I tried them very fresh - freshly made in the shop in Duck, NC - and they were still just blah. A HUGE letdown since I love donuts.

She's a keeper.

I don't eat a lot of donuts, so when I treat myself about any donut tastes pretty good to me. i"m partial to the Dunkin Donut blueberry donuts. Glory Donuts in Frederick gets a lot of hypee. They're from the Georgetown Cupcake mold- limited supply, really high prices, and they're also completely vegan.

I think the ones at GBD near DuPont are pretty amazing. I was not impressed with Astro.
