66 and wearing low-top grey Chuck Taylors. I still run, workout, attend dinners, parties etc.

57 here. I wear Nike canvas. I'm ashamed to admit I have 20 different colored ones. I've treated myself to a pair every year.

My 66 year old mom has gray Vans and they look fantastic on her. I'm 35 and love them for myself as well!

31 and wear converse

I'm turning 50 and wear my melon colored hi tops with my greenish yellow or rust colored jeans. Matched with the $4 t shirts I buy at Michaels. When you're "older" you should have already out grown caring about what other's think of trivial matters. I pity the old fool, that can't even dress for themselves.

I'm 52 and bought my first pair for a dance (street) class. I did have to put inserts in them!

This is an odd question. Do you like them? Wear them. They sre sneakers

It would probably be best (although I have wore mine without in the summer sometimes). They also sell special little "no show" socks to wear in them.

I'm 37 and I have both white Converse and black leather perforated Vans. Neither are all that edgy anymore. Go for it!

I still have the low-top white Converse I bought in 1973 for middle-school PE. They made them sturdy back then.

I'm 50. Mine are off white and mint green.

I am 46 and love love the slip-in Vans for their comfort + style. Yes.... I do admit, I like the slip-on Checkered pairs as well as the solid black "old-school" ones w/white shoelaces.

I'm always running late in the mornings so being able to slip on my shoes last minute is a blessing. Bonus points if they are cute & stylish to boot.

I wear (non-high top) black/white Converse w/a pair of denim cut-off shorts, a T-shirt and some "old school" sporty knee high tube socks.

And so far, haven't gotten any weird looks or comments yet so I must be rocking it!
