My mom, she's geezing big time. No way.

This is the cutest description. You have a way with words, PP. Plus you sound really fun and sweet.

My guys have 3 sets of grandparents. We would absolutely let my mom and step dad do this- my dad and step mom no, probably not and not my inlaws either- its an energy/patience thing.

But my mom and step dad would be the only ones who would want to take them solo on a trip- the others would love a family trip but with us there! So it works out, if they are offering, do they really understand the energy it takes (depending on your kid of course!)

My 3 year old? No. But now that my kids are older (8-12), they love taking one-on-one vacations with their grandparents. Makes them feel happy and special, plus lets the grandparents interact with them as individuals rather than the whole family. I think it is a win-win.

I would, but then again, my parents and in-laws aren't that much older than some of you granny mommies.
