I'm not the PP, but it's easy to ignore those posters because I know they're not telling the truth. The single or recently attached women in my circle prove that wrong. Someone repeating it over and over again on a message board doesn't make it true.

Who will be pissed off and who is a hypocrite? Did the OP not ask about height? It's well known most men don't like fat women, I don't think that comes as any surprise.
It is the exact reason why a man would choose a thin woman with an eating disorder and issues and stay with her over someone who was 20 pounds overweight
And women would do the same. I would take a guy who was starving himself or roiding out in the gym over an extra 20. The weight attacks go both ways, cupcake.

I married a 5'6" guy. He has a bit of a Napoleon complex.
The shortest guy I dated was 5'2" (I am 5'6"). That was a little odd. He always wanted to sit with his arm draped over my shoulders. But he was so short that when he got his arm up there, I felt like it was pulling my shoulder down too much. Other than that -- his height was not really an issue.
All in all, I prefer a guy 5'10 or over. But it comes down to so much more than height when finding a life partner.

Wow! I can't say that I remember much about anyone before dh. What made him so good?
Apart from his massive manhood, smartest and most in tune man I've ever been with. Totally self confident, in control, very experiemced and capable, but also with a sense of humor and heart and self deprecating; never a braggart or cold or unavailable. Bona fides confidence as a man and a lover -- he knew he was as good as he was on both counts, and wanted to (and did, in spades) share the wealth. A hugely giving and adventurous person.
He did not believe in monogamy, however. Didn't think it was "natural". I agree with him in many respects, though subscribe to monogamy for the sake of family and marital longevity, so, well, you know. I can't blame him, frankly, with his sex drive and hunger for women, and all kinds of intense experience. If the interest in monogamy had been there, I think he would have been the one.
You're describing my ex! I still fantasize about him sometimes. Do you ever miss that FULL feeling?

I'm 5'2". DH is about 5.5". If I were new on the dating scene, 5'8" is about perfect. 6' and over is too tall.
