100K. 30 years old. Small mortgage and car loan. Wife doesn't work.

I make enough to pay all my bills and be comfortable. My QOL is great.

People get to wrapped up in money. Nobody cares.

30/39. 90K. We make less than a lot of people in this area but have no childcare expenses and don't work in the city so we can live further out, so we are fine.

Ages 30 and 31. No grad degrees - and no, we are not in sales!

What do you do then?

Accounting and direct marketing

What's direct marketing? It seems similar to sales.

I guess you could say that most aspects of business in a capitalistic society are "similar to sales".

Doesn't sound like he is going to burn out if he has 22 weeks of vacation. Seriously though, I have never heard of an ER making 600k with almost half the year off.

When I see posts like that, I just assume that the poster is lying/exaggerating. I think a lot of people on this site exaggerate their HHI.

32 and 140k. Feel like we are below most people, but I love my non-profit job so I'll take less money although we could use a new (used) car badly
