I think those Baltimore schools may all play in the same league.

PP, what is it to you? If you do not like reading about lacrosse, then newsflash - do not click on the thread. I agree with PP. We are at a private school in the IAC and the obsession with lacrosse is crazy. But I must say also infectious.

Why should this be moved? Private school parents in general from this area are obessed with HS athletics - especially lacrossee. For whatever reason, lacrosse seems to be a big deal in this area and it appears that most private schools in this area seem to be committed to building a competitive HS lacrosse program. At my daughters school, the program has even been elevated.

Maybe in LI, but as far as I know, the IAC has more teams in the top 25 than any other. Our area is known as a lax-hotbed for very good reasons.

Can this please be moved to the Sports forum? It's basically another lacrosse thread (and goes beyond IAC lacrosse).

Giblin was not involved. He was rather helping to break up the melee between two teams as was the Heights head coach.

Dave Mitchell? What is he like?

Seems like a good coach. But the proof will be in the pudding. Those NL and Heights lax parents are not a patient or forgiving bunch.
