You mean, extremely wealthy and show-offy? These weren't their ideas. They threw a ton of money at a variety of people with actual ideas and talent, who took the words these people said about themselves and made something out of it. The couple themselves didn't come up with anything other than the funding, or do any of the work. Lame.

I don't know these people but I'm so embarrassed for them: "contribute to one of the three legs of our multinational honeymoon" Yikes, bride and groom, if you can't afford it, don't do it- don't ask others to pay. You just made your honeymoon a glorified gofundme! Description of the wedding has 'custom' everything and you clearly felt the need to showcase your conspicuous consumption. Whatever happened to 'donate to these causes or a cause of your own' if you so badly need others to know you don't need the $?

For all of the fuss and money, I didn't think it looked like anything special. I have been to much more beautiful weddings that were probably 1/100th the cost of this one. Plus, if you are as much of a self-entitled "fashionista" as this bride, why do you pick that dress and those ridiculous clownish shoes? Also, I was not a huge fan of the french-braided hair. Good entertainment value, though, I will give it that!

We're supposedly in the top 4%, and I don't feel anything close to being wealthy.

I think the wedding is ridiculous, imo, but if that's the lifestyle, then so be it.

btw - Have you seen Dale Chihuly's works? I have - up close and personal. He's been around forever and is nowhere close to "hippy."
