PP, first you put your "generational wealth" at the top of the list of things by which you apparently define yourself and that make you a catch, and then you claimed that it is all locked up in trusts anyway so couldn't have been a motive for marriage. The bottom line is that you think you're great because of your family background and you came here to tell people about it.

My teenage nephew fits that category, though not common. He is 1/4 Korean. Blond hair, blues eyes that can tan to a deep brown in the summer.

Yes. Two biological and two adopted with SN as children. On purpose. We had the resources to get them the surgeries they needed to help them (they had cleft palates). So on purpose.

PP here. friend above got asked out a lot when single by men seeking long term relationbships.

I have a friend who I would say is a catch. Smart with a stable DC-type job (but not a crazy demanding job like lawyer or surgeon or banker), in good shape but not obsessively/fanatically fit, seems to generally enjoy life and have a lot of interests, has some friends but isn't always surrounded by a gaggle of friends, seems to have a healthy relationship with food and alcohol, not a smoker, has the type of looks that will probably age pretty well.

Maybe. You're right, you don't know him. He's provided for us in such a way that we haven't had to touch my trust though- and he will retire at 50, so that sounds pretty nice. If a guy can do that for a family our size living our lifestyle and be as dumb as you think he is I don't know what is wrong with the rest of DCUM slogging away to make ends meet on 2 salaries.

Mental stability is desirable. But the tricky part is some people seem to have this until...they don't.
