It sounds to me as if she is really trying hard to get back in shape after having an incredible number of kids in a short time, so she has a personal trainer who is doing a boot camp class that he claims will make her better at a triathlon. It is likely 1-2 hours of strength work, a run, a bike ride and a swim, which would take a long time and be consistent with her injuries.
I get all of this. This is why I didn't think much it at first. After the last two weeks, with the bruise marks and bruised/swollen knuckles, and now cheekbone--thats what set me off. Prior weeks, bruising was still there, but not as pronounced.

Sorry, just saw that you addressed this later.Anonymous wrote:Yeah, I don't understand why OP just can't ask her what gym she's training at and say that it seems odd that triathlon training would lead to such bruising. But mainly find out what gym it is - I'm sure they have a website that describes the kind of training they offer.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why dont you just ask her WHERE she is training, and with what organization or group. I mean, what is the literal address of where she goes on these nights? Hard to believe you haven't clarified this but are ready to have her tailed.
This is also what I don't get. You haven't asked her exactly what she's doing, when and where it is? Super weird, Op. And I say this as the wife of someone who does a lot of this type of race. Plus, training groups for them this far in advance don't even really exist.
There's something weird about your relationship, and it isn't just whatever she's doing at night.

She told me where it was. Its a private instructor who has a gym out in Howard County. I actually called the guy to see if I could sign up (to verify), but he has not returned my messages or emails for over two weeks.
My plan is to hire sitter and go there myself to see.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I don't get it. Can't you just ask her what's up? Tell her you don't buy her triathlon explanation and need more information.
I did this. We have actually gotten into arguments about it. She says she does a lot of "crawling" type of exercises to build core strength. She try also lift heavy objects and carry them. They use some kind of rope for working out. And she says its partially outdoors, which means shes doing some of this stuff in the dark. The cheekbone bruise last night was apparently from her accidentally hitting a rope against her face.
I asked her what kind of triathlon is this? I thought triathlons were swimming, running and biking. Shes says what shes doing is more extreme, and its going to take place in next Spring by the companies to do the Tuff Mudder(?) type races.
Still don't buy it- hence the increasing desire to hire a sitter next week.

This is the first thing I thought, as well. She's gotten into kink-BDSM with someone and they are meeting once/week for an all-night session. Married women love this stuff.
Crossfit/soldierfit/TRX Training classes don't last for six hours![]()
OP, does she have a lot of bruises on her butt? Also look for bruising or markings on her wrists and ankles. These would be from rope or other types of restraints.
Good luck, OP. But I fear you will not like what you discover.
Also, pay attention to inner thigh bruising. That will be a pretty clear indicator of her "activities."
