My agency allows up to 80% telework (if you're out of the office 50% or more with telework and/or AWS days, you lose your cube and have to go to the open space), and says the reason we can't do more is that our duty stations would change. How does USPTO get around this?

Question for the fed teleworkers: how flexible are your telework days? Can you pretty much structure your day however you want as long as you get your work done? Or hours in? Or do you need to be in front of your computer the same hours you would otherwise be in the office? Particularly interested in FDA responses ... Thanks!

It is becoming more and more common for positions that can do it. For me, I am a GS-14 and telework 5 days a week. I do go into the office for meetings occasionally and I do have some travel, but I love the flexibility my agency gives me.
This is what my office does as well (FDA). The offices are configurable for two desks (the standard desk can be made in to two so that each employee has his or her own space).
