Liberal in what way? And do you have any idea who some of the trustees are? Josh Bolten is Vice Chair. Elliot Abrams and Michael Chertoff are Trustees. Orren Hatch serves ex officio. There's no overt political agenda.


Exactly. Since when did being concerned about the persecution and safety of human beings become a "liberal" issue? If that is how you define liberal, then you need to do some serious reflecting on your morality and "political" beliefs.

What really happened is that a media guy asked him a trolling question and he responded with evasions as any reasonably smart politician would given the uncertainty regarding how this issue is going to play out. What? You are painting Trump out to be worse that Sarah Palin: "oh, that darn liberal media asking her what magazines she reads. How mean and nasty". If someone asks you if you want to set up a database of Muslims, you say, "no". It's not that hard. If you misspeak, you issue a clarification. Beyond answering the reporters question about whether he would support such a database, Trump went further and said his administration would absolutely implement such a thing.

Trump's comment is extremely disturbing to me. Sadly, I bet his poll numbers go up. The GOP has been courting the fanatics for years and this is the frightening outcome. How could anyone think that Trump would make a great President?!
