So I asked this rather overweight "Dad Bod" type, with his two young children in tow, if he would be so kind as to pick up my prescription for me.
He said "no", that he would not be so kind. Some example he sets for his children. He said that if I can't figure out what to do with my dog, that I should leave it at home when I run errands. Although that's the only time I can get out and give my dog the exercise she deserves--something this guy could USE a LOT of.
You do understand that it's a very weird request to ask a stranger to get your prescription for you. I'd also say no. It's just too odd. It would be more common to ask him to keep an eye on your friendly dog while you step into the store for a minute. And what does the shape of his body have to do with it?!
