That's what I was thinking. Not exactly the go-to town in which to set an AA show. Plus - I highly doubt there is ANYBODY in Potomac who wears that kind of makeup and dresses like those women. It all seems like an elaborate farce.

People will know where Potomac is now if this show is at all successful. So glad it's not in my neighborhood.

Right? They'll say, "the river?"

+1. They will not show these women in Potomac just like they don't show ATL in Buckead or the far out burbs that they live in. For all intents and purposes it will be DC/elite black women/Jack and Jill types. I know at least two of them are AKAs.

Is AKA a sorority? Or like Jack and Jill?

AKA is a sorority.

Can't wait! Don't care if they are black or white as long as they drink a lot and can make a mountain out of a molehill. Extra points for table flipping or leg throwing!

I answered my own question with the magic of the internet. Several of them don't live in Potomac. Shocking, I tell you, shocking. Just like RHofDC was basically RHofMcLean.

Lol that's what I used to call it too!! That stuck up bitch Mary Amons. Interestingly, ALL of the women off RHODC are divorced now since the show ended.

I see the wrinkled ladies' claws are coming out for the beautiful black women on this show. Granted all of their clothing choices are questionable. I'm excited about watching this latest entry into the RHO franchise. I grew up in MoCo among the black elite and it's an extremely small community. Most of my mom's and aunt's friends looked like this 25-40 years ago.

They will be getting into the biracial vs. black issue and I'm sure colorism will be discussed at length.

Huh?

You just proved why Potomac is the wrong venue for this show.
