I doubt most people in the US have even heard of Potomac.
Lol so true

Everyone knows there is nothing real about any of these reality series, so maybe we should all come down from our high horses. I'd rather watch these women than ehat you all would consider the "real" women in Potomac. These women actually seem to have some spunk and personality.
+1. They will not show these women in Potomac just like they don't show ATL in Buckead or the far out burbs that they live in. For all intents and purposes it will be DC/elite black women/Jack and Jill types. I know at least two of them are AKAs.
Is AKA a sorority? Or like Jack and Jill?

I answered my own question with the magic of the internet. Several of them don't live in Potomac. Shocking, I tell you, shocking. Just like RHofDC was basically RHofMcLean.![]()

I see the wrinkled ladies' claws are coming out for the beautiful black women on this show. Granted all of their clothing choices are questionable. I'm excited about watching this latest entry into the RHO franchise. I grew up in MoCo among the black elite and it's an extremely small community. Most of my mom's and aunt's friends looked like this 25-40 years ago.
They will be getting into the biracial vs. black issue and I'm sure colorism will be discussed at length.
