The inference that a woman who preferres to shave is akin to a pre pubescent girl, or that a man who LIKES that is therefore someone who would like having sex with children is perverse. Period.

Thank you god! I'm so sick of people saying it makes you look pre pubescent. I can't stand the icky, scratchy feel of pubic hair. Maybe if it was nice like the hair on my head, but it's not.

Sometimes I shave and sometimes i don't. He doesn't care. If I am on the hairy side he says "I love bush." If i am shaved he says "ooooh bald, I like it."
My point is that a guy who enjoys sex enjoys sex regardless of the amount of hair (within reason I suppose). A guy who is particular about pubic hair style and stupid enough to announce it? Throw that fish back in the sea. He's probably not so great in bed anyway.

Born in 1965. I too have been surprised at men who expect that. I simply say that I'm not interested in taming my bush, but understand if it's a deal breaker. One guy really pressured me to shave completely, but I told him I didn't want to, and couldn't be bothered to trim either. I have no problem with men of any age wanting that, it's just not me.

I am a 50+ male. If I get there, I don't care if there is hair or not. But, IRL, I will say, I have never been with someone who shaved/waxed. It was not a thing when I was single.

People that complain about any woman down there must be getting a lot more than I ever got.

Oh, I am all natural; I do shave my face (sometimes); my hair occasionally is trimmed; and I have Chest, Back, Arm, Leg, and Pubic hair. The only times any of those are shaved are for the (too frequency) medical procedures. I will say, I can see the point of shaving the chest after trying to get the Cardiac Monitor leads off my chest from several days ing the cardiac care unit.

People have pubic hair for a reason- to prevent chafing during sex which prevents the risk of infection from skin breaking down.
