Subject: rotisserie chicken: WH's vs other stores
Look, I'm no chef. But I started roasting chicken recently, and it is so easy, and always tastes better than any grocery store rotisserie chicken.
My method is to pat it completely dry inside and out, then sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper, and put on a roasting pan at 425 for about an hour and 15 minutes or until it's done (check with thermometer). I don't put any oil on it and don't stuff it with anything. It is delicious every time.
Of course, if I'm in a hurry coming home from work, I buy a rotisserie chicken. I think Weis has the best ones, if you have a Weis near you.

El Pollo Rico in Arlington, VA or Wheaton, MD is great!

Humor me (I'm not from the US): what is a peruvian chicken and where would I buy one? I see everyone rave about them but I've never come across them...

Agree with other posters that WF rotisserie chicken is dry, that Giant is best of the big chains and that Peruvian chicken is best of all.
