Subject: Just lost job during probation period. How do you explain on resume? What do I do next??
In the application process it often asks, list all your previous jobs. They will figure it out, it's not good to leave it off.

Does your boss know about the class? Only asking because my boss laid off a dear coworker because she didn't have certain skills. He confessed to me that he thought she was lazy by not taking any classes to bump up her skills. She hasn't told him that she actually had just started two classes to do just that. By the time I told boss, it was too late.

OP, I think you leave it off. If you do put it down, you need to also be able to put down a class or two, maybe some temp experience. Then you can say, honestly, I was let go because I did not know how to do templates or wasn't fast enough, but I addressed those issues by...and tell them what you did to improve.

Dude, leave the job off. It will make you incredibly undesirable. Also you will seem kinda dumb. Do some temp work and lump your new samples and skills with your temp experience.

The truth is I was just not fast enough.Do I say that?? Most places list that they are a fast pace environment. I think I can work faster now. I was out of work for 2 years and it did take me a little while to remember the programs.
Take the advice of this entire thread and leave off the experience. Despite what you think, it was not a good experience. You were let go after a short amount of time. You won't get a good reference from them, and that skill set you learned was deemed not good enough by them. Stop pushing this; it's not a good idea to include the job.
People are telling you to work on your skills more before applying to more jobs. Why are you ignoring this good piece of advice?
