Watch Life As A House. It's not the big ugly obvious tears. It's those sad regretful deep tears and you don't see coming. I love hate those types of movies. Rabbit Hole is similar but curiously not as heart-tugging.

Ordinary People is a good movie. Of the emotionally detached WASP genre like Interiors and Myth of Fingerprints. Well worth watching. Movie set in suburbs north of Chicago but book was set in Edina, MN where author still lives.

Has anyone ever watched Ordinary People?
Granted it's from 1980, but I've heard great things about it.


Also, Into Thin Air.
That scene when Rob Hall is dying on the top of Mt Everest and gets patched through via satellite phone to his pregnant wife.
So sad!
