Based on what I saw, no. It appears she was hit in the street. There are several large trees and telephone polls on the sidewalk grassy part, and none have been touched. Plus the tent covering her body was in the street and you can see where they cleaned it up, all in the street. That part of the street (the southbound part) has one driving lane and then some extra space next to the sidewalk where there are parking spaces outlined in white. It appears she was in the road, all the way to the right next to the sidewalk right before that part of the road turns into parking spaces, so an ad hoc bike or running lane.

How is it an unknown vehicle if they've identified the vehicle and the driver?
