While there are plot holes, I am enjoying the show. It is not TWD as we know if, but I think that is because we are still getting to know the characters..

I think I read somewhere that in the Walking Dead universe, there are no zombie movies/fiction. Which is also why no one ever refers to the walkers as "zombies".

I was shocked the military got there so fast. Look how long FEMA took to get to NOLA with Katrina, but in LA they are sphere in like 24-36 hours.

NOLA is a lot blacker - that's what conspiracy theorists would say.

So my theory is that since this is the prequel to TWD, which is amazing, this one will be a bit harder to get into. We know the aftermath. By default the beginning of the story will be less interesting. I think that as each episode develops it'll get better, but right now it's an odd position for the show. Some people know there is something going on, something effecting people that is communicable via bite but that's it. Lots more to learn (I don't think they've figured out exactly how to kill them yet, since they don't go for the headshot first).

Prequel's normally have more info and are a bit on the boring side. It happens. I think it's still interesting and will continue watching.

I love it. I'm willing to suspend some disbelief. It's a freaking zombie show. Yeah, ok, there are some plot holes. But, this is not walking dead and I'm not going to compare it. I thought the 3d episode was pretty good.

I will continue to watch but I am really disappointed. I have liked some of the actors in other roles but they are not working for me in this rendition of the Walking Dead.

At first I thought the problem was the casting, then the writing. Now I think it is both.

I'm a huge Nick fan. I think the actor who plays him is great. (He's British, actually.) Sure, his character is centered on his next fix but you can still see that underneath he gives a darn, if only he can get off the dope. I loved how, in the beginning of the first episode, he actually looked like a zombie when he woke up and was walking around the church. It was good, subtle direction.

The concept behind this show had real potential. Unfortunately, it's an epic fail.

I liked last night's episode. Really dislike Nick. Wonder if his character will ever become likable.

Sadly, none of the main characters were eaten in last night's episode.

Fair point. How about the kid who packs a metal knife to school- knowing about the detectors- because he foresees the coming apocalypse but still, you know, goes to school despite the looming zombie apocalypse. Seriously, either make a plastic shiv like everyone in prison or stay home and prepare the bunker.
