And just how was the NATION...assuming your meant country not county, built on black treasure? They made a few southerners rich for a while and cotton was, for time, a big export for the US. But how was the nation built by slaves?

The 3/5ths was for purposes of representation in the House. How the south got that is beyond me. But, once they were free and citizens they were counted as any citizen would be.

Exactly, blaming the victims isn't PC but at some point the people getting punched in the face need to effectively mount an anti-getting-punched-in-the-face strategy other than relying on the other party's good will. Honestly humans are catabolistic and as long as profitable to exploit people it will happen, it is up to the people not to let it be worth it to exploite them by any means necessary for it to stop. That what everybody else dose and that is the basic truth. Easier said than done though

No, I don't believe it was/is. For one thing it wasn't limited to a single race. For another it was about righting a wrong that was happening in the present and had been a problem for a long time.

And fyi, I have never benefited from AA and actually lost the opportunity for two positions strictly because of AA and while it kind of sucked I didn't feel it was wrong.

We are all forgetting about Native Americans.

Shouldn't each of their votes count at least 10 times more than ours, white or black?
