And guys are far worse than women in some cases....this is one of them.

Given murder/violence statistics against people's exes, I would say it's definitely men who are crazier...

That message screams psycho. Good reasons to run away fast.

I like to reject a guy by using either a gong or hitting a button that shows a big red X. They usually get the subtle hints.

I don't think there's any right way. Breaking up with a guy is tricky since he may be the one that initially put himself out there. A lot of times we are the ones approached by men - they take a risk by putting themselves out there. So I think the rejection is much more active and therefore hard to deal with.

There's all kinds of crazy in this world. But I guess I've been lucky. Every guy I've broken up with (not many) has been pretty cool about things. Not sure how DH would take it though if rejected him.

Exactly. They were never dating so she didn't ghost him. She didn't have to tell him to fuck off because she owed him NOTHING. That's what he, and some other men, don't understand. A woman isn't required to acknowledge your very presence of she doesn't want to, and that doesn't mean she deserves threats or harassment. She replied to his original message nicely, and frankly he should be happy she did that.
