Evergreen Homes also build in McLean.

Here is another thing to think about. I would also consider a mid size builder like NDI, Focal Point or Relux homes etc.... because they are more likely to be building new homes in your neighborhood and will come back to fix issues even after the warranty period so they don't tarnish their name.

Agree, PP. To put the likes of NDI, Focal Point and Tradition in the same category as Great Jones is laughable. They are as "custom" as Home Depot allows.

I don't really like the threads when they start to read like rival builders or their customers randomly trashing each other. Great Jones isn't well known locally so if you think they are good why not highlight some specific examples of their work? Focal Point and Tradition are both using much higher-end materials than you'd generally associate with Home Depot, so your comments just make you sound like a pompous ass.

Wait. This is not all the same builder throughout the Reserve? Do they build from the same plan choices or something? Within certain parameters? They are similar houses, starting at 2.8+.

There are a number of different builders at the Reserve. The thing they share in common is that the big houses use most of the lot.

+ same materials and same look to the houses.

NDI has expensive upgrades.

Anonymous wrote:Depends on your price per square foot.

Classic and NDI seem to be the cheapest

Focal Point and Sekas a bit higher

Tradition and Buchanan Price next

I'm sure lots of others higher up...this was where we hit our ceiling.
