OB Ultra is the only thing absorbant enough for me.

I really like the U by Kotex called "Click", they have the compact applicator.

Pp from before. If you google diagrams for instead cup and diva cup, you will see that they sit inside of you differently, thus are inserted differently. I started with diva but am now a convert to the instead.

You can't use Instead if you have an IUD. Does anyone know if it's the same with a Diva cup?

For the instead cups, pinch it in the middle to make a figure eight shape. While standing up, push backwards and in, not really up. The back will start to widen inside you, slide you fingers forward and pinch the front, keep pushing back. One it's all inside, do a little push up on the front edge. It will slide into place and you won't feel it.

The instead will partially empty itself every time you sit down to pee. This is normal, you are not leaking and should not see anything on your panties. When you are ready to remove, hook your pointer finger under the lip and pull forward straight out. It is not like the diva that goes up and down.

The instructions just said to fold it and push it up there, but it wasn't more specific than that. I understand the concept, but I am not able to hold the cup closed the whole time I'm trying to insert it, so it doesn't go far enough in. (sorry that's sort of graphic)

Diva comes in two sizes, basically one for people who have given vaginal birth and the other for those who haven't. I bought the larger size because I've had 2 babies, but then found it was too long so trimmed the stalk off and turned it inside out = perfect! 3 years and no leaks once I figured out how to place it correctly.

I think the diva cup is better because you can reuse it for 5 years. The silicone is also more sturdy so I feel like it won't crack or leak.

I was just like you which is why I switched to the Diva cup. I keep it in for 12 hours and the cup is no where close to full. The change from having to change every 2 hours to every -2 hours has been amazing!!!!
