A lot more people apply to Beauvoir plus the threshold is much higher at B - the scores are much higher...I don't know anyone whose child has below a 95% on testing
My child's FSIQ was lower than 95% and she got into Beauvoir and three other VERY good schools
My son too. He's a Beauvoir alum and at STA now where he's excelling academically. He was also accepted at GDS.

I have a child who was a priority applicant (ie, sibling or legacy) who scored 99.9 - and I would NEVER think to share that with anyone - I think don't think you can assume anything about scores if you don't know it for a fact - ie, someone who you might think got in just b/c of being a sibling might actually have a higher score than someone who has a parent who goes around saying what their score it. Seems like a very strange thing to talk about.

OP - you probably got more than what you bargained for. Good luck in September - you will learn the ropes in no time!

Well OP, if nothing else, you've learned parents actually discuss their child's scores and inquire about the scores of other children. I wonder if PP asks others how much money they make.
Your presumptions are incorrect - I wrote this but did not say I am a Beauvoir parent. As far as I know from the Beauvoir parents that I know - they don't discuss scores or anything of the like there. I know A LOT of people who go there and their kids all had 95% or plus. I'm sure there are some that did not, but everyone I know - their child had at least a 95% - many closer to 99%. These are friends of mine that in the process of sharing and worrying through the process we shared info.

Because I think it's fun to rile people up on DCUM over silly little things, and nothing, and I mean nothing, accomplishes that like posting a statement like this about "B." (And the reason this always works is that there is an element of truth to the statement.)
