Omg this is OP no I am not a troll . They live at my parents house Friday to Monday as in over the weekend. SIL calls my dad daily during the week to check in. They have a very close relationship they talk and share things. I said before that I am a little jealous and feel left out because they keep talking to each other like I am not even there. I am not part of any conversations. This is completely separate from the butt smacking. How do bikinis get wet? There are numerous ways to accomplish this. One can urinate but a more common approach is to partake in swimming. Anyways I decided that I am reading way too much into the whole thing. My dad has issues with boundaries. My SIL isn't shy about her body and feels confident to display her ass for the world to see. And I am just jealous and a prude.

I'm going to assume that OP is telling the truth since I had a potential SIL (my brother's fiancee) that would come out and eat breakfast with the whole family in her skimpy negligee. My dad loved it and it was embarrassing to be there. My mom didn't say anything because she was a guest in their home but my sisters and I thought it was highly inappropriate. She craved attention, especially male attention and always wore the skimpiest bikinis, sunned topless around my parent's pool, and wore deep plunging necklines and the shortest dresses when we went out. My brother just though she was "a character". Her parents had put her in charge of her many younger siblings while they went out and pursued their careers, affairs and social lives. She had been a model in her twenties and developed an eating disorder. Although we felt sorry for her difficulties, it still was disruptive to our family harmony when she was around. She ended up cheating on my brother on a business trip. I empathize with OP. Until you have had someone like that in your family, you have no idea how annoying and destabilizing it can be. No, my dad didn't touch her but he enjoyed her hugs/kisses and stared at her often.

I am not jealous of their flirtatious relationship I am no sure how you infected that. I said I have had my share of jealousy toward my SIL before but it is unrelated to my dad. It's the sibling rivalry type of jealousy which strained my relationship with my brother. I do not want my dad to smack my ass or to flirt with me that's just gross. But I do agree with one of the posters that my overall jealousy maybe clouding my judgement and I am ascribing more meaning to their interactions then there actually is. My dad is in his 50s and my SIL is in her early 30s.

If she's in her 50s and your dad is what, in his 70s (???), there's nothing you can do. Your mom and brother have eyes and ears. They will use them or they won't. This whole thing sounds icky, but MYOB.
