I Love new shoes
I love them on my feet,
I love them in the heat.
I'll wear them for my man,
I'll wear them to the can.
I'll wear them to the fair,
or when my leg are in the air.
High heels, low heals, flat heels, no heels.
Shoes, shoes, shoes.
I love new shoes.
There. Fixed that for you.![]()

Anonymous wrote:OP how many does she have? Mine are as follows - I'm not a shoe person but this is what I feel I "need"
- Work heels and flats in a couple different colors. When I need to be dressy/extra sharp I wear heels because I'm short, but I much prefer to wear the flats. I use these same heels for formal events like weddings
- Weekend type shoes - casual tennis shoes, and a couple pairs of flats / sandals / boots depending on the season and bottom half of my outfit (e.g., chunky winter flats look awful with shorts, flipflops are great in summer but you need a dressier pair of sandals too for going out to dinner). There are probably 3 pairs of casual type shoes I actively wear each season to cover the range of level of dressiness so ~ 10 total
- Workout shoes - running shoes that I try to only wear for running since they're $$$ and a different workout pair. I also save my old running shoes for wearing for dirty things like yard work
Does that help?

I couldn't say how many pairs DW actually has, though it seems like a lot to me. Not sure how many are in regular rotation but I'd guess that there are at least 50 pairs strewn about the closet and bedroom. I don't think most of them are particularly expensive though.
Nothing thrills her more than some stranger commenting that they like her shoes though. That's a day-maker for her.
