A frirnd of mine worked at a slaughterhouse where a colleague lost three fingers in an accident. They ended up mixed in with 500 pounds of meet. The inspectors decided it was within the tolerances and allowed it through, ground fingers and all.

Sushi is alwsys frozen to kill parasites .
We buy salmon from trader joes, frozen. Will that kill the parasites? Or not cold enough?
