We use ours a couple times a year, but now that the kids are tweens/teens I’m going to start using them more often!

I recently thrifted some china, and I can’t wait to start using it. Now I’ve fallen down the tablescapes rabbit hole. I’m watching tablescaping YouTube videos every day. And I have started accumulating table linens and napkin rings.

Twice so far in 8 years. The first couple of years we moved around a lot and never even took it out of the boxes. The we settled down but had kids and our company also usually has lots of little kids. So it adds to the cleaning up hassle and adds something to keep the kids away from. One day I'll get there...sigh.

I have Lenox Tin Can Alley, which I love because there are lots of ways to combine different pieces to make the set unique.

Exactly this. I don't care about it, but it was important to my MIL.

This also. I didn't care enough to register when I got married since I thought it made more sense to have decent everyday dishes--I grew up eating on melamine. MIL gave us hers when they downsized. It is lovely and I am very grateful. We use it when we host them and anyone else on nicer occasions.
