Haven't worn it in years, I much prefer a light lotion

5-6 days a week

+1. I also just hate smelling other people and so don't make them smell me, either.

Unfortunately other people are still likely to smell you, your sweat and your breath, depending on what you have eaten / how frequently you wash / what your hormones are up to, etc etc

I'm not sure what the point of this post is - to say that the PP, presumably a stranger, is stinky? To suggest that people wear perfume to cover up body odor? IMO perfume + body odor smells worse than body odor alone - gross!

The point is quite clear PEOPLE CAN STILL SMELL EACH OTHER, EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO PERFUME BEING WORN. Everyone has natural smells, some worse than others.

I cannot recall the last time I smelled someone in the office who wasn't wearing perfume. Maybe the people at my workplace have better hygiene than at yours.

Maybe you have blocked sinuses? I don't know. I have a really acute sense of smell. Sometimes I think I can smell what the person walking on the other side of the street, had for dinner the night before. Crazy, I know.

Never. I can't stand smelling it on other people, so I wouldn't do that to others. A light scented lotion that just smells "clean" is fine but heavier stuff that is meant for others to smell is just obnoxious.

The old women doing water aerobics in the pool while I swim laps always seem to apply massive amounts just before swimming. It floats on the water and I emerge smelling like old lady rose perfume.
