I do but it's driven by the individual. We have like 7 nieces and nephews but I'm only close to one who was born before we met.

I am loving an involved with my neices and nephews, but care less about the ones I'm not blood-related to. It's not because of the blood relation, but omre of an issue with the parents driving me crazy. The kids are like the parents, and the less I have to talk to them or see them, the better. If either of their parents were my sibling, I think I would feel more compassion and make more of an effort, but I feel they're not as close of a relation as my siblings' children.

I pretend like I do... but I don't. I don't care much for his family at all, but I am good at faking it. Thankfully we all live in states and are very busy, so it's not often. Like, one niece is graduating from hs and I just don't see why I'd make a four hour trip to attend. Meh.
