Again, only way of life they know. The whole reason for women to exist in their religion is to make babies, as many as possible.

This.
And don't give me "They discriminate against gays." The anti-gay-"shaming" bullying is way out of hand. They may have way more conservative views than I do on this, but it's not evident on their show. What IS is that they're strongly Christian, modest, and have many children. If that's deserving of a public flogging, maybe you should pay a bit more attention to 99% of our "celebrities" and then think again.
You think they're not bigots because it's not explicitly shown on their extremely edited show of which they are executive producers? How nice for you.
Their political views are "not evident on their show" because they take pains to hide them. You see them all show up in flip flops to rebuild homes after a tornado, but you don't see them marching in pro-life rallies. You see Michelle devoted to her baby in the NICU, when she left her to testify against a convenience store down the road from their house which had the audacity to apply for a permit to sell beer. You see Josh trying to be a useless husband and father, when he's actually paid to be a useless hack for a hate group, the Family Research Council.
They are publicity whores just like the other "celebrities" you're thinking of. And I'm not sure what your definition of "modest" is, but I can't imagine this family fitting into mine. I can't see their knees or their collarbones with the clothes they wear, but I can see their motivations from a thousand miles away. Sorry you're too blind to see that.

And she is huge for being newly pregnant.
Apparently they still want to adopt. I don't understand why fertile people want to adopt, when there are so many infertile couples waiting for children. But I suppose that would be a s/o thread.
Because adoption is not a solution for infertility, as many in the IF often remind people who tell them to "just adopt." Adoptees aren't reserved for those who can't have bio children. It's not about the parents, it's about finding a home for children, whether that's with people who have fertility problems or not.
