Sounds like a terrible place for any child. The "teachers" clearly do not have an understanding od child development. If you can get her out of there. What daycare is this? Is it a corporate center like Bright Horizons? You have no idea what type of nitwits work in some of their centers.

The drinking fountain thing is ridiculous. Your poor DD, she must be so confused and frustrated when she can't even drink water or milk easily. I'd switch places, it seems like they aren't making developmentally appropriate decisions and aren't willing to work with the individual child -- two red flags, in my book.
