I know lots of Republicans and boy has the party changed. When I worked on the Hill in the 90s, it was soooo different. There were some issues that everyone woman agreed with - like abortion. All my repub friends were pro-choice. Now, the repub woman are crazy christian conservatives. I remember friends complaining that the repub party left them.
And, the same is true for Democrats.
There was a time when Dems were pro-free speech and tolerant individuals.
But, that has totally changed. One only has to look at what is happening in Indiana to see how things have changed.
