WOWZA! This is amazing. This is how I hope to be someday. My MIL is exactly the opposite. To say she is bitter is an understatement. I think she has maybe babysat once, and she lives nearby.

So as I geared up to thank my MIL for my gift I was thrilled when I opened my box and found a Calphalon skillet. (the one I really, really wanted) My MIL was quick to add she knew I wouldn't enjoy a Coach bag but was pretty sure this was the skillet I had looked at 4 months earlier when we were out shopping together. I LOVE that woman. My SILs all thought I was crazy but I use that skillet every single night and it reminds me that my MIL cares about ME.
