Bethune x 1000
And I would say Burroughs x1000, especially with the "big" kids moving on the BMS.
You all are great, but um, not exactly helpful...

Do you want immersion? Or are you interested in arts and chinese too?
I like the idea of immersion but don't speak a lick of Spanish. But I was super impressed with both open houses. Never in a million head imagined we might have a choice.
Go with ITS.

LAMB and ITS. Decide for me!
LAMB Hands Down.
ITS hands down.
If you aren't super committed to Spanish, ITS. Friends with kids in elementary (not prescho) say they underestimated how hard it was to support dual language if a parent doesn't already speak the language. I have heard nothing but great things about ITS.

Depends. Has your DC already made quite a few friends? We're you planning on staying at ITS for middle school? Hearst has Deal so that's a huge plus. What don't you like at ITS that made you lottery to begin with?
DC has lots of friends and we are in bounds for Deal as is so that's not a deciding factor. As we move up in grades at ITS we don't feel the academics are as strong as we would like, don't feel confident in ITS hiring decisions (again for the upper grades), and am generally dissatisfied with the administration (lack of communication with parents and not very responsive to parents concerns and issues).
We already decided not to stay for middle school as we feed into Deal so wondering if it's better to move to Hearst where DC would follow a group on friends to Deal and hopefully be more challenged academically. Any former ITS parents who made the move to another school out there willing to chime in? Any current or former Hearst parents who can give insight?
